There’s no better way to end a day in Belize than aboard our relaxing sunset cruise through the tranquil waters of the Placencia Lagoon. Cruise through peaceful mangrove channels and quiet canals before watching the sun set behind the Maya Mountains, painting the sky with brilliant shades of gold, orange, pink, and purple.

Departing from the Splash Dive Center Marina at 4:30 PM, your captain will guide you through the sheltered waterways that weave between the mangroves and the Placencia Peninsula’s residential canals. Along the way, you’ll pass beautiful waterfront homes, private docks, and small lagoon islands while learning about the area’s unique ecosystem.

Wildlife at Day’s End

The calm waters of the lagoon come alive during the cooler evening hours. Keep your camera ready as you search for West Indian manatees, pelicans, herons, egrets, kingfishers, ospreys, and other tropical birds that frequent the mangroves. Every cruise is different, making each evening a unique wildlife experience.
