Horseback Riding Belize — Jungle Ride and Swim Adventure
Your horseback riding Belize adventure begins at the stable after a brief orientation and training session. Furthermore, riders are matched with horses suitable for their level of expertise. First-time riders are very welcome. Additionally, you will head west from the stables through a coconut grove into the green tropical jungle. The trail winds over pine forest hills and through small creeks. Moreover, you will ride through the rainforest past magnificent cohune trees toward the Maya Mountains. You will ride past yet-to-be-excavated ancient Maya sites, looking for birds and animals that call this place home. Furthermore, depending on the river level, you can take a swimming break in the Sittee River between two small rapids edged by bamboo before returning to the stables.
