Dive Sites
Pompion Wall
Start this dive in about 30 feet/15 meters of water, then work your way down the slope to about 45 feet/14 meters where a sheer wall drops down a few thousand feet. Off the wall, the 70-foot/21-meter range offers plenty to see, because many crevices form a protective habitat. For example, you’ll often spot spiny lobsters, green moray eels, spider crabs, and hawksbill turtles hiding out. Additionally, colorful Caribbean reef fish swim on top of and along the wall. Occasionally, pelagic species such as king mackerel, wahoo, and smaller tuna appear in the blue water.
