The PADI Open Water Diver Certification is the first complete entry-level certification you can earn and the most chosen course for beginners worldwide. The PADI Open Water Certification is the most recognized in the dive industry and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world. The reef system around Placencia in Southern Belize is the perfect environment for you to do the beginner’s scuba diving course with warm waters, no currents, great visibility, and amazing coral reefs. We do the confined water dives at one of the cayes, using our 50-foot pool for the confined water dives only in the case of bad weather.
This PADI Open Water Course includes 5 academic modules, 5 confined water dives, and 4 open water dives. It is your passport to the underwater world. Complete the academics online and finish in as little as two days. No previous experience required. Open to anyone aged 10 and up — perfect for the whole family.
Our equipment is professionally maintained and in excellent condition. You’ll receive personal tuition from our licensed Belizean PADI Instructors. We keep a maximum of two students per instructor. Our instructors know the local marine life and coral reefs well. Placencia offers outstanding dive sites and some of Belize’s healthiest reefs.

We strongly recommend you do the academic portion of the PADI open water dive course with the E-learning option. We have a very nice classroom but our classroom is not where you want to spend your time in Belize!
