Take your Belize Barrier Reef Diving to the Next Level
The PADI Advanced Open Water will open your access to more challenging and rewarding dive sites. This course is comprised of 5 Adventures dives. The course is open to all Open Water divers with a minimum age of 12 years.
These 2 days of scuba diving will open a new world with the best scuba diving in Placencia
Two of the 5 dives are prescribed – Deep Dive so you can check yourself for susceptibility to nitrogen narcosis and Underwater Navigator so you don’t get lost! We always recommend Underwater Naturalist and Fish ID as two of the electives as those help you see more during your dives and understand more of what you see. Peak Power Buoyancy is another good one to improve your diving skills and reduce air consumption.
Other options include Search & Rescue, Wreck Diver, Underwater Videographer, Enriched Air Nitrox and Dive Against Debris.
We work with a maximum of 2 divers per instructor to ensure both the quality and safety of the training.
This certification allows you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 30 meters/100 feet without professional supervision (where local laws allow). This course requires just 2 days.
Please contact us for specific information. With the PADI E-learning option, it is also possible for participants in this course to complete the reading portion and knowledge review prior to arriving in Belize.
